BE KIND ALWAYS: The Superpower The World Forgot
By Ausaf Haider | Soulora Stories
In this article, we will discuss the real definition of a man that our society never understands.
1. The Real Definition of a Man
A man is responsible not only for his own happiness but also for the happiness of everyone around him. He never does anything only for himself. From a very young age, he starts compromising. He sacrifices his childhood for his parents, his youth for his siblings, and his whole life for his wife and children. His life may seem easy from the outside, like a piece of cake. But ask who is living this life. Only he knows the weight on his shoulders.
2. Why Does a Real Man Never Show His Feelings?
Our society has set a wrong rule: "Men Don't Cry."
People think that if a man cries, he is not a real man. This is completely false.
If a man cries, it means he feels broken inside. He never shows what he feels because he thinks no one can understand him.
1. He is the support system for his family, but no one supports him on his bad days.
2. Sometimes his parents support him, but sometimes he has to become the supportive parent for his own parents.
3. He sacrifices his youth by working day and night without complaint because he thinks it is his responsibility.
4. After becoming a father, his life changes completely. He has one more big responsibility on his shoulders. He struggles a lot and still has to bear scolding from his mother, his wife, and his boss.
"Powerful Quote: Crying does not mean that a person is weak; it means that a person has a heart."
3. The Double Standard of Society For Men (Point-wise)
This is the most painful truth of a man's life. Society never leaves him:
1. If he goes out - for a long time, he is careless and a wanderer. If he doesn't go out, he is a lazy person.
2. If he smokes, he is a bully. If he doesn't smoke, he is too innocent.
3. If he listens to his mother, he is a "Mama's Boy". If he listens to his wife, he is his "Wife's Slave".
4. If he scolds his children, he is not a good father.
5. If he supports his wife in her job,* people say he lives on his wife's earnings. If he doesn't support her job, they say he is stopping her from growing.
6. If he scolds his wife, he is an irresponsible guy.
He puts all his effort into bringing happiness to everyone's face, but no one thinks about him. Only his mother sometimes understands him, and sometimes not.
7. Being a man just has way too many societal pressures placed on us.
4. What Does Islam Say About Man?
We all know that man is the strong creation of God, but that does not mean that he doesn't have a heart and feelings.
The Holy Qur'an says in Surah Al-Insan, 76: Verse 2-3:
"Surely We have created man from a small life-germ uniting itself. We mean to try him, so We have made him hearing, seeing. Surely We have shown him the way. He may be thankful or unthankful."
This verse proves that man is created for a test, for struggle and responsibility.
5. What Does a Man Really Need?
In the end, a man does not need your money or your sympathy.
Sometimes all he needs is someone who understands him and supports him in his bad times.
So, my message is:
1. To all women, respect all men in your life - your father, brother, husband, and son. Understand them.
2. And to all men, be patient in your life. Not every girl wants your money or status. Keep one thing in mind: not every girl is the same.
Conclusion: A Real Man Just Needs Respect.
He doesn't need money; he doesn't need fame. A real man just needs a little understanding. He is the pillar of your house. Don't break him with your words
